Historically, hyperbaric chambers were created to treat divers suffering from decompression sickness or gas embolism. In these emergency conditions, the reduction of the delay before treatment of the diver is fundamental. However, access to hyperbaric chambers is often limited by the lack of adequate infrastructure near areas of diving. The use of expensive emergency transport means, such as helicopter, is thus essential to transport the diver to the closest hyperbaric center.

What if the diver could be treated directly on the site of the accident?

Due to its transportability, the HematoCare™ can be brought on diving area to support teams of divers and be immediately unfolded in case an incident occurs. The treatment can be provided directly on site by a qualified team, which significantly reduces the delay before treatment while eliminating the costs associated with emergency transport.
